It’s Late but at last the Snow’s Arrived!

I have to admit I’m a bit of a kid when it comes to snow. i know it causes distress, difficulties and accidents but mostly I love the white stuff. I’ve been waiting all week for the snow to come and every day my weather widget tells me it’ll be tomorrow. We’ve had flurries and lots and lots of ice. Frozen pipes and unhappy gas bottles as the temperature has been colder than we’ve seen for three years but not a lot of snow.
At last the snow is coming!
I’m smiling as I write this very quickly, as in a minute I’m off to take all the dogs (we’ve got two extras for a few days dog-sitting) out in the snow. My wellies are ready, my naff looking woolly hat awaits, I’m off to play in the snow, look for tiny bird footprints, chuck snow balls at for dogs and generally act like I’m seven again.
It’s good to play now and again so off I go…

This snow is lovely because it’s so dry! Well it is today, but I gues when a few tractors have been round I shall need my wellies and not my walking boots!
