Olive Leaf Tea Interview

I know, I can’t believe it either… even MORE shameless self promotion!  The Catalan Gardener did an interview!  It’s all about olive leaf benefits.  Thanks to Jeanne from Sevenoaks it means the All That’s Olive site gets a bit of publicity.  So maybe more people will buy olive leaf tea!

One can only hope!  But in the meantime we shall continue living frugally!  It’s a good job all the veggies are starting to really grow ‘full throttle’, largely due to the rain.  In fact please check out my potatoes below – they’re the happiest potato plants we’ve grown in Spain.  Planting them in some dappled shade and then getting the heavens to repeatedly pour definitely works!  That’s my hot potato tip for today.

Okay they’re still a bit patchy, but they are the happiest potatoes we’ve ever had this early in the season, in the Catalan Garden so humour me!  And, yes it needs weeding.  It’s a new bed so doesn’t have any stone or wooden edges yet.  It’ll get there.

And, back to the main thrust of the post (I got a tad sidetracked by our potato growing success).  If you want to find out more about the benefits of olive leaves check out the interview at Love to Know.

Hi Lec! Thanks for posting the link. Your potatoes look great! I hope to take photos this weekend. My spinach test has the two varieties growing neck and neck. I swear that every time I look out the kitchen window, the spinach and chard have grown another inch thanks to all the rain we’ve had. Looking forward to your next post!

Oh, I got my potatoes in so late. Oh well, better late than never I guess. I do have one volunteer in my garlic patch. Evidently I missed a potato while digging them last fall. I’m very interested to see what’s underneath it when I dig it up.

  8. We always seem to have a few rogue potatoes left from last year. Sadly you are supposed to dispatch them quickly so they don’t cause a build up of potato diseases in the soil. Always seems such a waste!
