About 10 years ago, I purchased a set of Adirondack chairs and 2 Lounge chairs made of Polywood. I liked the idea that they were made from recycled plastic and was amazed at the high end look and how they performed over time. They were left out in the harsh midwest winter and beating summer sun for many years. It would be hard to imagine a tougher test. I would strongly recommend Polywood products. I would, however, stay away from the faux wood grain found in some styles as dirt tends to collect in the textured areas which requires more routine maintenance to clean that the smooth finishes. I grew tired of them and sold them last year in a yard sale-sometimes I wish I had them back. I'm sure they are still performing beautifully!
