We had a small one (4,000 litres) that came with the house, but have built a new 25,000 litre one, but of course you can never have a cisterna that's large enough can you! Here's a local tip that I will try next year before planting:put empty snail shells ( as a vegetarian I will have to beg them from somewhere such as a restaurant or neighbour) in your planting holes where they will act as little reservoirs.
